12 things I can do for you - and 2 you can do for me

Just to make it clear, what I am talking about here are not the services I offer professionally. What I mean here is the give and take of people in a supportive network.

What I can offer

  1. I have 8 years of experience teaching both in-person and online, and can help you design effective learning experiences.
  2. I love discovering and using new software tools, so if you’re looking for a recommendation (x tool in order to be able to do y), I’ll be glad to help!
  3. I have good design skills so if you need help designing a website, a flyer, a poster, or anything really, let me know.

  1. I’ve received training on teaching and learning protocols and thinking routines from Harvard’s Project Zero and will be happy to help you brainstorm activities for your next teaching session. I’m also a trained facilitator and Iove using tools like Miro or Mural to help make thinking visible (and Butter to make sessions more engaging).
  2. I’m passionate about game-based learning. If you’re curious about what it is and how it’s relevant for companies, just let me know!
  3. If you’re looking for feedback on any of your projects, I’m a great listener and I’m good at asking questions. If you think that can help you move a project forward, just reach out.
  4. I can offer advice on game design with a focus on pedagogy.
  5. I worked as a Pedagogy coach for Maven, the biggest cohort-based course platform in the world. I can help you brainstorm ideas for your course and course launch.
  6. I’m from Guatemala and have been living in Mexico and Portugal as a digital nomad for the past couple of years. If you’re looking for recommendations of where to work, where’s the best food, and which places to visit, just ask! I can also help if you ever need to practice your Spanish (the Portuguese I’m not good at -yet-).
  7. I love to write (you can check out my articles on Substack). If you have a bunch of ideas you want quickly put into paragraphs, or punctuated, or proof-read, or just sense-checked – let me know.
  8. I got my MBA from a very non-traditional Business School (and it has been one of my most transformative learning experiences. Who says that from an MBA, right?) If you need help with Unit Economics, running minimum viable tests, or building systems and levers of control within teams, I can help by asking you the right questions.
  9. If you’re into indie-rock music I can recommend good bands :)

What I am looking for

  1. I’m looking to learn more about the needs of remote companies who care about building transformative learning experiences for their employees (or customers). If you are a remote company, what have you tried? What are your pain points?
  2. I want to help ****people who love to learn have access to purposeful transformational experiences in multiple stages of their life. If you’re a life-long learner, how can I help make this happen?
